Delete your ScrollFoods account

You can delete your account at any time, in the app or by email.
In the app (immediate)
- Open ScrollFoods and go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
Your account is deleted right away. This can’t be undone.
By email
If you can’t use the app, email privacy@scrollfoods.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We handle these requests by hand, and may ask you to confirm before we delete anything.
What is deleted
- Your account and login, and your profile.
- All your videos, including the video files stored with our video provider.
- Your comments, likes, saves and reposts, and your follows (people you follow and people following you).
- Your viewing analytics records.
- Your block list and hidden-content list. Blocks other people placed on you are removed too.
- Drafts on the phone you delete from (drafts are only ever stored on your phone).
What is kept, with nothing linking it to you
- Daily totals per video (for example, how many times a video was viewed).
- A minimal record that a deleted video existed (its date, place and length), used in business reports.
- Places you added stay listed.
- Reports you sent stay for moderation, without the link to you.
- Reports about you stay without the link to your account, but the saved copy of the reported content (for example your username and caption) stays in the report as evidence.
